A Special 80th Birthday Celebration for Julia
On February 4, 2021 the entire family of Julia Despain Johnson along with friends from around the world, the nation and the neighborhood gathered virtually online using the Zoom Video platform to celebrate the occasion of Julia’s 80th Birthday!
The event program featured a video tribute to Julia’s 80 years, a slide show highlighting important events over her eight decades narrated by each of her children and a video montage from her 15 grandchildren.
The program was emcee’d by Ron and Julia’s son Terry Johnson. The decade slides were produced by her children Terry Johnson, Lisa Perez, Kent Johnson, Lynda Brine and Wendy Hadden. Colin Brine produced the program and facilitated the zoom meeting.
At the end of the program, guests took turns coming on camera give Julia personal wishes, share memories and say happy birthday.
